Yes. Continuing education (CE) is required of all licensees and
shall be completed by June 30 of any year in which a license
to be renewed. Licensees shall complete 10 hours of approved
CE during each renewal period with the following exceptions -
person licensed less than one year does not need to complete CE
at the first renewal; a person licensed one year but less than two
years must submit 5 CE hours at the first renewal. Beginning with
the licensee’s second renewal, 5 of the 10 CE hours required for
renewal must be related to the National Electrical Code.
