County Executive Breaks Ground for CLS’s New Headquarters & Distribution Center
Upper Marlboro, MD - Capital Lighting & Supply hosted a Ground Breaking Ceremony June 6th for their new 220,000 square-foot headquarters and central distribution center. Prince Georges County Executive Jack Johnson attended the event and said “Capital Lighting’s decision to relocate to Prince George’s County is a symbol that our county is growing and has the right environment for businesses to grow.”
The facility is being built in the Eastgate Business Park near the interchange of Pennsylvania Avenue and I-495 near Andrews Air Force Base and is expected to be fully operational by the summer of next year. This move will create approximately 135 jobs and the company has plans to expand and add six to eight branches throughout Maryland within the next five years.
